A bootleg filmed from the balcony at Kemper Arena, Kansas City July 3, 1996, is said to be the final performance of Alice In Chains with Layne Staley. Layne Staley’s Mom Sues Alice in Chains

According to an article in seattlepi.com, Layne  Staley's mother Nancy McCallum says Alice in Chains owe her half of the money due to Staley (roughly 16% of the bands income).  According to the suit the band has attempted to cut her out of any further payments.
