Layne Staley’s Mom Sues Alice in Chains
According to an article in seattlepi.com, Layne Staley's mother Nancy McCallum says Alice in Chains owe her half of the money due to Staley (roughly 16% of the bands income). According to the suit the band has attempted to cut her out of any further payments. According to Lawyers for AIC, Mum tried to illegally trademark the AIC name and has already been paid far more than she is due.
